The Goulbourn Lawn Bowling Club was formed and started in Richmond on temporary greens.  In 1998 it was moved to its present location.

Club Location

 2135 Huntley Road,beside the City of Ottawa municipal building near Stanleys Corners about two kilometers south of Stittsville,Ontario.

Bowling Opportunities

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday:  9:30 a.m.
Tuesday: 6:30 p.m.

Open House

June 11 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

An opportunity to meet and learn lawnbowling.  Lunch is supplied, and free instruction.  Club bowls available

At present we have 57 enthusiastic bowlers, up from 42 the previous year.  Sunshine is desirable,but we have been known to bowl in the rain! Our morning games always end with coffee,tea and refreshments.  We always welcome new members,and will provide expert coaching,as required. We will also loan a set of bowls so newcomers can try out the game. No special outfit is required, although flat-soled shoes are desired.

Fees for the first year are 60 dollars; after that fees are 135 dollars for the season. This is good healthy entertainment value at a very reasonable cost.   We host three invitational tournaments a year. We also host a few in club tournamets as well   Lawn bowling combines fun,good exercise and sociability,and thus contributes greatly to the health and well being of its members.
